Welcome to Glashaven

With great enthusiasm and confidence, we started selling homes for Glashaven in Rotterdam in 2022. Unfortunately, economic conditions have changed drastic in recent times. This has led to the fact that, after an energetic start, the sale of homes in Glashaven has come to a standstill in recent months. Unfortunately, we are forced to remove the homes in Glashaven from sale. All buyers have been informed about this via a personal letter.

We still believe in this beautiful residential building in this magnificent location. That is why we are back at the drawing board to see if and how we want to market it in the future. beautiful location

Glashaven is beautifully situated in the city, in a special part of Rotterdam that is secluded from the hustle and bustle, but still has the vibrancy of a metropolis in its vicinity. Surrounded by water, old ports, the Maas and various quays, the Maritime District still has that authentic atmosphere that belongs to a real port city.

symbol of reconstruction

Although the Glashaven was once filled in to provide space for shipping companies and large cargo ships, the Glashaven flat became the symbol of the reconstruction of Rotterdam in the 1950s. With sharp horizontal lines, striking balconies and lots of glass in minimal frames, the Glashavenflat is of great cultural-historical value. The past is not forgotten in the redevelopment.

Central location

Everything you need can be reached from Glashaven on foot or by metro. The hotspots of Rotterdam are within walking distance. And the rest of the world? It is at your feet, thanks to three metro stops nearby, the Maasboulevard and the Maastunnel route around the corner and Rotterdam/The Hague Airport a fifteen minute drive away.

Culture nearby

The center of Rotterdam with the nicest shops, restaurants and entertainment venues is a few minutes’ walk from Glashaven. A night out in the New Luxor? Visit Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen? What to drink in the Witte de Withstraat? From Glashaven you can walk there in no more than fifteen minutes.

Special architecture

Glashaven was originally designed by architect Dürrer in a business modernism and is very similar to other architecture from the 1950s and 1960s, such as the Van Nelle Factory. Special when you visit the current location is the strong horizontal lines, the large glass front that is placed in minimal frame profiles.
